VidSnap Pro Troubleshooting Guide

Welcome to VidSnap Pro's Support and Troubleshooting Center. If you are experiencing issues checking format options, zipping files, or zipping batches of links, browse our solutions by category or type in search terms below.

Error Link Not Detected
The link typed or pasted is misspelled, points to an unsupported platform, or has country/age-based security tokens.
Verify it is a public post on Instagram, Facebook, X, or Kwai. Copy the URL directly from the official app's "Copy Link" option and make sure it has the proper HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
Error Format Analysis Failed (Private Video)
VidSnap Pro respects user settings. If a profile is private, a group is restricted, or authentication session logs are required, our server engine cannot fetch the stream.
We only support checking permitted public media. Confirm that the target user's profile settings are fully public. If the creator restricts external shares, we cannot access this boundary.
Error Mobile Download Opens in Tab Instead of Saving (iOS)
Apple's iOS Safari is designed to play streaming media in its native web player instead of triggering a local file save action.
When the video opens in a Safari tab, tap the share icon at the bottom of the screen, scroll down, select "Save to Files", name your file, and click save.
Error ZIP Batch Fails or Freezes at 0%
ZIP batching times out if the server is processing very large files, a URL in the list is broken or restricted, or your network connection fluctuates.
Clear the queue and try processing files in smaller batches (e.g. 5-10 links). Ensure all individual items have reached a green check "Ready" state before clicking "Save as ZIP".
Error Audio (MP3) Option Unavailable
The platform link contains a silent video file or uses a custom audio stream format that our server cannot convert in real-time.
Use our utility only for videos that contain an active audio track. If conversion fails, you can download the MP4 file and extract the audio locally using browser converters.
Error HD Quality Options Missing
VidSnap Pro can only list formats made available by the platform's public stream CDN. If the original post was uploaded in low resolution or if the platform serves manifests (.m3u8), HD will be unavailable.
Pick the highest available resolution listed in the checker results card. We do not upscale videos; we only fetch what platform CDNs output.
